Have a blast!
Learn about Japanese animator and character creator Hayao Miyazaki
Create our own unique works by studying Miyazaki’s subject matter and use of line and color
Older students will assist in reading story books to younger students
All students will be encouraged to speak in front of the group about their work-
their process, their materials, their feelings
Have an end-of-the-month review discussion guided by Gardner's Multiple Intelligence Theory
Have a gallery party wherein we show our class where our work is displayed in the home and tell our gallery-goers about our piece
Schedule:
Over each 45 minutes, we will begin with a warm-up drawing and share that work.
