A google docs registration form will be sent to all who purchase a class to inform me where class will take place, to share with you my proof of vaccination and have you sign off on some details. I hold a cert. of liability insurance for every home I teach at.
Photos or video from class may be used for social media use.
Please provide a written statement if you would like your child hidden in these posts.
February 2022 Artist: Studying Indigenous Illustrator Dr. Bronwyn Bancroft
Time: First four Saturdays @ 10-11am or 12-1pm,
or a one-time party class (second or fourth Saturday) @ 3-4pm
Cost:
-10am or 12pm classes, four one-hour classes, $200 for 1-2 students at the host home. An additional $100 per up to two additional visiting students from one additional home.
-3pm party class, one one-hour class, $40 per student, min 4 students and max 8 students.
Ages: 3-17
Class Size:
(1 host household, outdoor space required)

Goals:
Have a blast!
Learn about illustrator Dr. Bronwyn Bancroft of the Aboriginal Bundjalung women from New South Wales, Australia
Create our own unique drawings or paintings by studying Bancroft’s use of line, color and materials
Older students will assist in reading story books to younger students when possible
All students will be encouraged to speak in front of the group about their work-
their process, their materials, their feelings
Have an end-of-the-month review discussion guided by Gardner's Multiple Intelligence Theory
Have a gallery party wherein we show our class where our work is displayed at the home and tell our gallery-goers about our piece
Schedule:
Over each 1hr. in-person class, we will begin with a warm-up drawing and share that work.
We may read a story, work on our main creations and discuss our work.
We may say goodbye with air high-fives, a silly imagination-based outro and/or smelly stickers.
A one-time party class will combine the following four classes into one.
Materials: Included with tuition
Week 1: The Warm-Up
Paper, drawing items (crayons, markers, pencils)
Week 2: The Animal
Canvas, paint and/or oil pastels
Week 3: The Animal
Work from last week to build upon
Week 4: The Gallery
Wear something fancy!
Prepare a title that describes your work
Display your work somewhere at home (outdoors) and get ready to share
Juice and cheese spread optional
